"well skin me alive and call me luggage."

(sorry for the slightly offensive title. its a quote from "Tiny Toons: How I spent my summer vacation" which was a childhood favorite. I think we (my sisters and I) checked it out from the Quincy Video Store every week for an entire summer. I'm not exaggerating, we watched it incessantly.)

1. Apology: the lack of "real" and readable posts. the survey is far from acceptable, but a space filler during the holiday.

2. I am preparing for the Militia Group retreat to Big Bear this next weekend. Usually we go on a cruise, this year it was left to ME to plan the festivites. So, The Sleepy Forest Cottages it is. I can't tell if this will be the best time of my life, or if I will be bored out of my skull. Either way, I am looking forward to a weekend in the moutains. Paul wont be there, which is my only complaint. He's moving to New York on the 1st of January (I think, or sooner...?). With Brandon gone, and now Paul-- I must admit, there is a large, gaping hole in my life. I love those two very very much.

3. i saw the Gray Kid perform tonight. he's incredible. really, he is.

4. and now I am here. writing to whomever may listen and/or read. thanks for stopping by. its been a weird week. I've most likely avoided writing, because I've been emotional. And, as I say -- this is a "painfully self-aware" blog. I can't get too vulnerable. Its the world wide web, people! I'll share more. All in good time...

I never knew you shared a passion for the Tiny Toons Summer movie.. I too along with my sister of the same age difference were so strangely transfixed on this film.. Did we talk about this before? Did we try to netflix this at the old Jewish apartment?
